Now that you've reviewed class web pages created by other teachers, it's time to start planning your very own class web.
bulletSet goals. What do you hope to accomplish with your site?
bulletThink about your audience.  Are you developing your class web for your students, their parents, the community, or all three?
bulletDecide how much time you are willing to spend on creating and maintaining your site.  Do you want to commit to frequent updates, or do you prefer to include more stagnant information that requires only occasional updating?
bulletNow decide what information you want to provide for your audience.  Some ideas:
bulletYour rules and expectations
bulletYour grading policy
bulletMajor curricular units
bulletHomework or project assignments and deadlines
bulletLinks to web sites that complement your curriculum
bulletInformation about yourself
bulletField trip information
bulletSchedule of special classes (elementary)
bulletStudent work
bulletStudent of the Week
bulletUsing Inspiration software, develop a plan for your class web, showing how the pages will link together.  Your web will look something like this:

bulletPrint your Inspiration web to use as a guide while developing your class web.
