You will work with your group, and individually, to assume the role of one of the following characters from the novel, and "adopt" your choice of one of the captives.

Your task, as the Lenni Lenape character, is:

• through research, to assimilate the captive you
  choose into your Lenni Lenape tribe, teaching
  him/her to become a happy, productive member
  of the tribe.
• to create a mandala to engender an identity 
  for your captive.
• to decide the usefulness of each of the 
  captives, and determine each of their fates.
