| Perhaps you've just watched a great Civil War movie on
television and know it would be a great resource for teaching your
American History class. Or maybe a current periodical has an interesting
article on a famous author that your students are currently studying in
English class. Maybe you've just found the perfect picture on the
Internet to add to a PowerPoint presentation that you're building to
present a lesson. Or perhaps you'd really like to use that single copy
of math software that you bought for your home computer with your entire
class--you know the kids will love it!
Can you use these resources in your classes without violating copyright laws? Maybe . . . maybe not. This web site is intended to provide educators with sources of copyright and fair use information. I created this web site to complete the requirements of a graduate course in Society, Law, and Media Technology at Clarion University of PA. I am not a lawyer. I am an educator who recently earned certification as an instructional technology specialist. Please contact me at bwitkowski@keyknox.com with your questions or comments.
