Keystone School District Facing Funding Crisis |
| The Keystone School District
is facing a critical state funding shortfall. As
a result of a change in the state's funding formula, the Keystone School
District will receive only a 1.5% increase in basic education funding. Meanwhile,
costs for fuel, energy, and health care have spiraled far in excess of
the 1.5% funding increase, and the state continues to add mandated
programs that the District must maintain!
We urge you to download the letters linked below and sign and forward them to your elected representatives, whose names and addresses are also listed below. Please let them know that a 1.5% funding increase is unacceptable and that our Keystone students deserve the same educational advantages enjoyed by their peers in other parts of Pennsylvania.
