Pre- 1900's

This barn is located on route 322 just outside of Kossuth.  It was built around the turn of the century (1900's) by Calvin Fye.  The farm acreage at that time was about 152 acres.  As seen in the recent photograph, the barn really hasn't changed a lot.  The house below accompanies this barn.

This house is also located on route 322 outside of Kossuth.  It was built by Calvin Fye.  He and his wife Claudia were the first to live there.  Following them were Alfred and Olive Kenemuth.  Today it is owned by the Heplers.  The house has been redone several times and a new addition was added recently.

These two photographs have been take 62 years apart from almost the same place.  As seen in the picture there is quite a difference.  In the old photo there is a farm in the background.  It was owned by Mattie and Marion Keely and was most likely built around 1900.  Today the barn is no longer there and the house is in a slightly difference place.  The shed has been remodeled into an actual house.  These houses are located in Ninevah.

This house is located in Ninevah.  It was built somewhere around the 1920's.  Years later the Klines had the house skidded from the farm with a team of horses to its present location.  Today it is owned by Harry and Helen Sheatz.  It has been redone a few times, with both porches being added after it was moved.

This barn was built in the early 1900's.  It was owned by Si Pierce, and perhaps someone before him.  It has also been owned by Chuck Cotherman and Bower's.  Recently, the barn has been torn down but some debri is still left, as seen in the picture.

This house was once accompanied by a barn, but as seen in the photograph it no longer is.  It was called the Bill Pierce farm.  The house has been owned by Bill Pierce, Emerick's, McConnels, Smolsky's, and presently by Johnsons.  It has been remodeled a few times.  Today the porch is no longer there and a garage is in the place of the barn.

Schmader's farm

These two farms are both located in Ninevah.  The top is known as Ran Knight's farm and the bottom is the Schmader's farm.  Schmader's was once owned by Dorothy Whitehill

This barn was once a part of the old Sheatz farm.  The farm ran from route 208 all the way to route 66.  It was first built in the early 1800's, and is thought to be have been owned by John Sheatz.  The barn was torn down at least 60 years ago, and perhaps before that.
