| Welcome to Iowa. There are many
different things to do in this wonderful state. There are excellent attractions and many famous people that are from Iowa. Not only are there
outstanding people and attractions but it has awesome history of its
own.
On Iowa's flag there are three vertical stripes, blue, white, and red. This flag resembles the flag of France. On the white stripe there is a bald eagle carrying a blue streamer in his beak. There are many attractions throughout Iowa one of the major attractions is Dubuque. Dubuque is where you ride on riverboats and in winter you can go skiing. The most common attraction is Effigy Mounds in northeastern Iowa. Some sports teams are Iowa Hawkeyeses, Iowa State Cyclones, Northern Iowa Panthers, and other professional sports teams.
