    Mississippi is a very gorgeous state. There are many different lakes that are located in this state. The famous river of the United States runs through Mississippi. That is the Mississippi River. There is also a different kind of sport that takes place here in Mississippi.  That sport is  Speedboat racing. This event is held annually at the Vickersburg Annual Riverfest. Vickersburg overlooks the Mississippi River and was also the site of one of the major battles, just incase you didn't know.
