Course Description:  This course deals with an overview of American government and how it affects us in everyday life.

Course Objectives: The students will have a basic understanding of how democracy works and will explore problems within the American government.

Assessments:  The methods of assessment utilized in this course may include quizzes, essays, traditional testing, speeches, visual presentations, oral presentations, research papers, and other methods.
