Description:
Students will cover the causes of the war and the war itself, beginning in 1820. 

Objectives:
To help the students understand the causes and effects of the Civil War.  The class includes a field trip to Gettysburg. 

Assessments:
During this course students will take tests and quizzes, and also work on projects.
