At the conclusion of this webquest you should have a better understanding of the adventures experienced by the members of the Corps of Discovery. A close look through time and place should provide an opportunity to associate Native Americans with the plants and animals living in a particular area and the native life style. Through the journals of the explorers and your own imaginative writing, you have had an opportunity to be on the trail. As you reflect on what you have learned, it is hoped that you have gained a greater appreciation for the courage of these men and Sacagawea. Their exploration forever changed the United States of America as the west was opened for further exploration and development. Westward, Ho!! |
