Throughout the school year, an educator from Passages, Inc. will present programs to all students at Keystone Elementary School. For students in Kindergarten through fourth grade, the program focuses on Safe and Unsafe touches. Various age appropriate media forms such as puppets, picture cards and videos are used to help students understand the importance of these concepts. Fifth and sixth grade students will learn about Peer Sexual Harassment, where they will learn what they should do if they are being harassed.
Fifth and sixth grade students will also learn about Cyberbullying and Internet Safety. The presentation will help students become award of the dangers of using the Internet. Students will explore online safety tips and will be warned about giving out personal information.
